The Orion Apex Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope 127 mm is a compact and powerful telescope for planetary and deep sky observations. However, the telescope can also be used very well for daytime observations and photography. With 127 mm aperture, the telescope already collects over 60% more light than a refractor with 100 mm aperture. The telescope is still very portable. It is well supported by compact equatorial and azimuthal mounts.
