Experience the famous globular cluster M 13 in the constellation Hercules: Thousands of pinpoint stars stand before a black sky like so many diamonds spilled onto black velvet. Equipped with nebular filters, you can watch the Gulf of Mexico in the North America Nebula and all the other celestial objects that Charles Messier listed in 1781.

The short focal length of the MESSIER AR-152S combines outstanding tranportability and high light gathering power. Due to a superachromatic-like correction, the chromatic aberration is reduced. The stars are tiny round disks even at the edge, the are not distorted. A field flattener is also not needed.

The modified Petzval system can also be used visually, even with 2" widefield eyepieces you get pinpoint stars to the edge.

Of course, a short tube is easier to transport than a long one, but additionally, the lever arms are shorter when the instrument is mounted, so the tendency to oscillate is decreased.

This telescope is only an optical tube without mount and tripod.
