Wega EAF Motor Mounting Kit with Ring for ASKAR FMA180 pro
Connect the ASKAR FMA180 pro to mounts, attach a finder and focus motorized with the ZWO EAF focus motor.

With this tube ring, you can easily install your ASKAR FMA180 pro including a suitable guide tube securely on a small travel mount. Already from the Skywatcher Star Adventurer or the EQ3 mount, a safe tracking without overloading the mount is possible with it. Long exposures are now possible by safely attaching a guide scope.

In addition, you can conveniently focus with the ZWO EAF focus motor without having to touch the lens. This ensures the best possible focusing every time.

A filament is used for this 3D printed part, which has a good UV resistance and is temperature resistant up to 80 °C. This means that it can also be used in stationary applications in summer without the material deforming.

ZWO EAF, Askar FMA180 pro and tools are not included in the scope of delivery!

Experience of a customer
One customer had some experience with the kit and solved a problem that occurred:

"The Wega attachment for the Zwo EAF does not fit perfectly, the belt tension cannot be adjusted tightly enough and the belt slips over the teeth on my model when focusing. This is somewhat awkward with the ASI Air, but also with NINA, as good AF is not possible. With a 0.5 mm full-surface plate on the rounded telescope connection, enough tension was then achieved to prevent the belt from slipping for the somewhat stiff helical focuser of the FMA 180 pro. The entire construction is not very stable and susceptible to vibrations.

Thanks for the advice and help from TS, as always quick and competent."
