Bino use: Tele Vue has kept the diameter as narrow as possible to make the eyepiece attractive for bino applications.

With an apparent field of view of 110°, the field of view is over 50% larger than at 82°. This clearly enhances the "spacewalk effect". The impression of floating in front of the object becomes overwhelming - this is a truly impressive experience. Another advantage is that you can observe an object for much longer without having to track the telescope. Especially owners of Dobsonian telescopes appreciate this.
