The Explore Scientific 14 mm wide-angle eyepiece offers an extreme field of view of 82°. It has a very good field sharpness and can be used on all astronomical telescopes. The UWA is a true universal eyepiece. It offers good resolution on the moon and planets. The eyepiece is also ideal for observing nebulae and star clusters when higher resolution is required.

A secure fit in the focuser:

The barrel tapers at the upper end. This always guarantees a secure fit. The advantage to a locking groove is that this eyepiece cannot get caught with compression rings. Nevertheless, tilting is impossible.
