With the Emerald 22 mm eyepiece, Skywatcher offers a high-quality solution for discerning astronomers who place great importance on contrast, clarity, and an exceptionally wide field of view. The sophisticated optical system, featuring seven lenses, delivers an impressively sharp and high-contrast image.

The generous 82° field of view offers a spectacular view of the night sky. This makes this eyepiece ideal for observing deep-sky objects.

All lenses feature full broadband multi-coating. This high-quality anti-reflective coating ensures excellent light transmission, high contrast, and minimizes internal reflections. As a result, stars appear as points of light and the finest details become visible.

With a comfortable eye relief of 18 mm, high viewing comfort is maintained even during longer observation sessions.

The Emerald eyepiece series is CNC-machined with the highest precision and combines excellent optical performance with a robust and elegant design. The high-quality, anodized aluminum finish underscores the excellent craftsmanship while ensuring high durability.

The barrel also features a thread for mounting standard 2" filters, allowing the eyepiece to be flexibly adapted to various observing conditions.
