Omegon Duo Narrowband Filter H-Alpha - 3 nm Full Width at Half Maximum
An interference filter like this one increases the contrast when photographing emission nebulae. The object stands out against the sky background and you can see details that were not visible before. This Omegon Pro Veil filter is designed for astrophotography with monochrome cameras.Many nebulae reveal a wealth of detail in the wavelengths of ionized hydrogen, oxygen, or sulfur. The respective filter models in the Omegon Pro Veil filter series allow these wavelengths to pass through, but block stray light and artificial lighting.
With a low full width at half maximum of 3 or 7 nm and high transmission, you can use these filters to create excellent deep sky images even in areas with heavy light pollution.
