Sky-Watcher?s CQ350 PRO Synscan Computerised Go-To Equatorial Mount & 2.75" Heavy-Duty Tripod is an observatory-class platform designed for the discerning astro-imager, which is also portable enough for use in the field. With a maximum payload capacity of 35 kg, it places the CQ350 PRO squarely between the EQ6-R and the EQ8-R PRO and with its dual-fit 45mm/75mm saddle, makes it a secure and highly capable platform for supporting a wide range of OTAs and peripheral equipment.

Quiet in operation, featuring high precision belt driven stepper motors on both axes. Supplied with the Synscan computerised handset with 42,900 object database and two 10 kg counterweights. An optional external polarscope is available as an accessory. The CQ350 PRO Mount Head is compatible with the 20293 EQ8 Pier Tripod, but you can also use the very solid, transportable 70 mm stainless steel tripod which is optionally available.

To avoid loss of warranty, please use only the power supplies and mobile supplies recommended by us. Especially simple car batteries or sealed lead-acid batteries can lead to an under-supply, which can then damage the sensitive electronics of the mount. Question:
How do I loosen the axis clutches??

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
To unlock, pull out the upper part of the knob and then turn the lever to the "ON" position. If necessary, relieve gear beforehand.
To lock, turn the lever to "OFF", if necessary turn the corresponding mounting axis slightly so that the worm can engage in the gearwheel. Then turn upper knob until it engages.


Question:
Do EQ8 and CQ350 have the same tripod mount??

Yes, both mounts have the same tripod connection, EQ8 tripods can be used on the CQ350 and vice versa.
