IDAS NGS1 Night Glow Suppression Filter

The IDAS NGS1 is a broadband nebula filter that allows the photography of gas nebulae, star clusters and galaxies even from close to cities. The filter is just as suitable for luminance images with monochrome cameras as it is for images with color cameras. The color balance is maintained well. The filters are also suitable for very fast optics without transmission losses. The most important spectral lines of hydrogen (Hα, Hβ, Hγ), oxygen ([O III]), sulfur ([S II]) and comets (C₂ in the head and in the coma, CO⁺ in the ion tail) are allowed through.
