GSO 0.75x Focal Reducer for RC telescopes

The corrector is designed for GSO Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes. The focal length is reduced and the focal ratio is improved. The f/8 becomes f/6 or f/9 becomes f/6.75. This shortens the exposure time for astrophotography accordingly. The corrector is also suitable for observation and enlarges the field with 1.25" or 2" eyepieces accordingly.

The 2-element design is not an image field corrector, it is purely a shortening of the focal length. The reducer is ideal for cameras with smaller sensors up to around 15 mm diagonal. For larger cameras, we recommend other correctors that we have in our range.

An M48x0.75 external thread is available on the camera side. To access the thread, unscrew the 2" adapter. The working distance from this external thread to the camera sensor is 80 mm for optimum performance. A reduction from M48 to T2 (M42x0.75) is also available for cameras with a T2 connection.
