TS-Optics 2" 1,0x Flattener and Field Corrector for Ritchey-Chrétien Telescopes
RC telescopes offer a well corrected field which is relatively flat. But with sensors from 25 mm in diameter, the stars are distorted in the edge areas. The TSRCFlat2 corrects this field error. The corrector allows photography through RCs with cameras equipped with larger sensors up to full frame format.

The 2-element corrector is supplied in a 2" housing. The corrector can be simply clamped to the RC via the 2" clamp. With the appropriate adapter rings, the corrector can also be screwed to the eyepiece extension. We will be happy to advise you.
Connecting the camera to the corrector:
The working distance from the camera-side M48 thread to the sensor is 109 mm (+/- 1 mm). So you have enough space for many accessories such as off-axis guides, filter wheels or filter drawers. With the matching M48 extension rings and transition adapters you can bring your camera into the right distance. We will be happy to adapt the TSFLAT2A adapter kit for you (see recommended accessories).
Adaptation of a SLR camera with T2 adapter or system cameras with a working distance of 55 mm from T2:For example, a SLR camera with the appropriate T2 adapter needs 55 mm of optical path. This is the distance from the T2 female thread of the T2 bayonet adapter to the camera sensor. Subtract this amount from the 109 mm working distance and
you get 54 mm. This distance must be bridged and the thread must be reduced to T2.
[[kein Bild]]We recommend the following adaptation - from flattener to camera:
2x TSVF208 (8 mm extension with M48 thread on both sides) TSFA2 (reduction from M48 to T2 - length 38 mm) 2zKonter (the ring is inserted over the adaption and allows a reproducible stop at 2")The required components are linked in the accessories section.
