TS-Optics 2" Energy Rejection Filter

This filter is an assistant filter for H-alpha attachments like Quark Chromosphere, which rejects energy and extends the lifetime of your Daystar Quark filter.

It can be used on 5" or smaller refractors.

Why add an ERF?

The filters of the H-alpha attachment can heat up, thus the lifetime is reduced. With this ERF filter, you can protect both the filter and the filter holder from high temperatures.

And don´t worry about the ERF itself, it uses B270 optical glass and multiple coating, so it reflects most of the energy, not absorbs it.

Does it have any other uses?

Yes, this ERF filter can also be used for lunar imaging. It provides an even brighter image than an IR685 filter while reducing the effect of seeing.
