TS tri-band narrow-band nebula filter for high-contrast nebula images, even from close to the city

The nebula filter from TS is an alternative to elaborate narrow-band nebula photography with monochrome cameras. The filter has been developed for color cameras and allows H-alpha (656.3 nm) O-III (495.9-500.7 nm) and H-beta (486.1 nm) to pass through. The filter is also suitable for extremely high-contrast luminance images with MONO cameras.

The areas of light pollution are masked out so that faint gas nebulae and planetary nebulae can be photographed well even from close to cities.

The focus of the TS Triband nebula filter is not only on a significant increase in contrast but also on the most natural image impression possible. The star colors are also displayed relatively naturally. Nevertheless, a very high contrast gain is achieved through steep edges and the disturbing city light is effectively blocked out.

Due to the moderate bandwidth, the filter can be used with optics from f/1.5. The filter can therefore be used on camera lenses as well as in telescopes.
