Antlia SHO 7 nm Nebula Filter Set, 36 mm unmounted
This narrowband filter set allows the astrophotographer to image deep sky objects in spectacular narrowband ranges. It is often used to image objects in the Hubble palette.

With a bandpass of 7 nm, the filters are designed to pass all photons from a nebula while blocking most of the broadband light pollution. The result is a much higher signal compared to the background, revealing faint details in nebulae. The narrowband filter set includes filters for sulfur (SII), H-alpha (Ha), and oxygen (OIII).

Advantages of the Antlia Prime narrowband filters
Antlia Prime narrowband filters optimize the FWHM (full width half maximum) to 7 nm bandpass. The suppression of unwanted wavelengths is OD4 (optical density 4). The excellent optical coating characteristics found in the Antlia 3 nm Pro series has been incorporated into the 7 nm Prime narrowband filters. The result is that these filters deliver superior SNR (signal to noise ratio) and better contrast in your images.

Antlia 7 nm Prime filters are designed to deliver 90% transmittance at the CWL lines that provides you with the maximum signal and well-defined nebulae structures. The out of band blocking specification is rated OD4 (0.01%) which delivers an excellent SNR (signal to noise ratio) and effective cut-off rate to minimize interference from other wavelengths.

Improved sharp cut off astrophotography 7 nm Prime filters are designed to minimize halos around bright stars.

Antlia 7 nm Prime filters can be used with nearly all systems as fast as f/2 with minimal loss in emission signal and meets the requirements of fast optics.

Question:
Do I have to pay attention to the orientation of the filter when installing it??

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
The installation direction of the filter does not affect the imaging result of deep sky photography. This is because both sides are coated to improve transmission rate and cut-off data, and it is no longer necessary to determine which side faces the cameras for optimal performance.
