Antlia L-RGB filter sets for color imaging with MONO cameras
With the RGB (Red/Green/Blue) filters, you can photograph the individual color channels with a monochrome CCD or CMOS camera. Due to the steep edges and the high transmission, colorful images of deep sky objects are then created in image processing. With the luminance filter (UV/IR cut filter) you can take detailed images, for an even higher resolution of details.

The advantages of Antlia L-RGB filter sets:
Antlia filters are designed for CCD and for CMOS sensors. The manufacturer has put a lot of emphasis on an even color balance, which facilitates post-processing and makes the result look natural.
The new LRGB-V Pro Series filters feature a spectral gap between the green and red channels to reduce the effects of light pollution, similar to a nebula filter. This allows faint details in galaxies or nebulae to be detected even from close to the city. In particular, light pollution from sodium vapor and high-pressure mercury street lamps is suppressed.
The bandwidth of the blue channel is narrowed somewhat to reduce halos around bright stars, such as the Pleiades. Overall, all filters in this set are designed to avoid halos around bright stars. Each filter is coated with an anti-reflective layer. In addition, all filters are equipped with blackened edges.
The blue filter and green filter overlap in the O-III region. This naturally enhances structures in the O-III region, such as planetary nebulae, but also many diffuse emission nebulae. These objects gain contrast. The red filter offers maximum transmission in the H-alpha and S-II range.

Question:
Do I have to pay attention to the orientation of the filter when installing it??

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
The installation direction of the filter does not affect the imaging result of deep sky photography. This is because both sides are coated to improve transmission rate and cut-off data, and it is no longer necessary to determine which side faces the cameras for optimal performance.
