IDAS DTD Broadband Nebula Filter and Comet Filter

The IDAS DTD - Dusk to Dawn - nebula filter not only provides transmission in the O-III and H-alpha range, it also lets through the light from comet ion tails in the spectral range from 400 nm to 700 nm. In addition, this filter also increases the contrast of the continuous light spectrum of comet dust tails, galaxies and the Milky Way by using the NIR (near infrared) region, which is hardly disturbed by light pollution. The filter is thus a universal nebula filter for virtually all deep-sky objects:
