TS Optics 11 x 70 LE Series Porro Prism Binoculars with particularly high aperture
True night-time binoculars - that is the 11x70 LE. Even in twilight, the image stays bright and clear. With this, the optics are well suited for hunting or animal viewing.

The TS 11x70 LE is our recommendation for astronomy. With an exit pupil of 6.3 mm, the considerable light gathering power of the 70 mm objectives is fully used. Observe nebulae and galaxies in their full size. The image is much brighter than, for example, the one given by 15x70 binoculars. In addition, you can hold these binoculars with your hands. Of course, there is a connection thread for tripod adapters.

All lenses are multi-coated which has a positive effect on the image. The binoculars convince with bright images and very good sharpness right into the periphery of the field of view.

Eyeglass wearers also get their money´s worth: with 18 mm eye relief, the entire field of view can be seen with almost any glasses. For this purpose, rubber eyeguards are foldable. They also increase viewing comfort by a comfortable fit to the eye-sockets.

With 70 mm aperture, the optics provide approximately twice as much light as binoculars with 50 mm aperture. Nevertheless, size and weight are only marginally more bulky than common with smaller apertures.

Nature Observing, Birdwatching, Hunting: whenever you have need for a particularly bright image with high resolution, the 11x70 will perform well. Short-term observations are well possible without support.

Astronomy: 70 mm of aperture mean twice as much light compared with 50 mm binoculars. Correspondingly more celestial objects can be seen. A "walk" through the milky way will show a "sea of stars" with embeded numerous star clusters and nebulae. Often, binoculars are better suited for beginning with astronomy than a small telescope. It is also definitive more versatile. However, in any case we recommend a photo tripod for astronomical applications.

"Wir nutzen das Fernglas zur Beobachtung von Tieren. Es ist sehr lichtstark und auch in der Dämmerung sehr leistungsfähig. Meiner Frau ist es jedoch etwas zu schwer. Für längere Beobachtungen empfielt sich ein Stativ."
