Astroprints 2" Filter Holder for Celestron Origin Telescope

Additional filter inserts for the Celestron Origin Home Observatory allow you to switch between different filters in a matter of seconds. You can use as many filter inserts as you like. This allows you to use any combination of filters for photography. This eliminates the need to change filters during photography and allows you to change filters quickly by using additional filter drawers.

Simply press your 2" filter carefully into the free opening from above with a little force until you hear a clicking sound. Your filter is held securely in the free opening. To remove it again, press against the cell from below and lift the filter out again. The holder is printed from slightly stretchable PETG, which allows the material to adapt slightly.

Important: The threads are designed differently from manufacturer to manufacturer! For this reason, there are differences in the mount accuracy of different filters. If your filter still does not fit, you can easily adjust the mount on the filter holder and enlarge it yourself. If the holder is too large, attach a small piece of insulating tape (e.g. tesa Iso Tape) to the filter to exert pressure in the holder.

Note: Unfortunately, it is not possible to offer ready-made filter holders with magnets already glued in, as Celestron positions the magnets differently for each telescope. Only then is the filter holder specially made for the respective Origin telescope and fitted with the appropriate magnets. As these are neodymium magnets, it is essential to observe the correct pole direction during installation. Printed instructions in English are included. You will also need tweezers and a suitable adhesive for installation. The manufacturer recommends "Uhu Sekundenkleber blitzschnell PRÄZISION", but most other - low viscosity - superglues should also work.
