Askar 0.8x Reducer for 103APO

The 0.8x reducer can bring the Askar 103APOs focal ratio down to f/5.44 while also providing field flattening. A shorter focal ratio allows the telescope to have a wider field of view and faster exposure times, making it suitable for capturing large areas of nebulae, star clusters, and faint, fast-moving celestial objects.

The 0.8x reducer adopts a quadruplet design that also supports a 44 mm full-frame image circle. The overall weight is 0.48 kg. The back focus from the M48 thread is a standard 55 mm. The front thread is M84x1. At the camera end, Askar has equipped three sizes of adapter - M68x1, M54x0.75, and M48x0.75 - for easy subsequent connection and use. At the same time, the built-in M48x0.75 (2-inch) filter thread can be used to install filters directly. The overall CNC-machined, both end threaded metal caps protect the reducer when not in use.
