What you can see with this telescope

The Moon
Craters and ridges can be seen easily. Watch the sun rise in the craters while more and more detail becomes visible!

The Planets
Observe the phases of Venus or the rings of Saturn. On Jupiter you can see many details including the atmospheric bands and the Galilean moons. Under good conditions you can see the great red spot - a huge hurricane twice the size of our home planet!

The Sun
With the Baader solar filter sheet you can easily build a solar filter that allows you to safely watch the activity on our own sun. You can find the filter sheet under "recommended accessories".

The Stars
Hundreds of distant objects are within reach of this telescope. Compared with the naked eye the telescope collects almost 140x as much light! Watch multiple stars with their often colourful components. Discover the ring nebula in Lyra - the remnants of an old star that has expired. You can even see objects outside our own galaxy: Globular star clusters that circle around our milky way, or the Great Andromeda Galaxy, our closest major neighbour galaxy. Here the improvement in light gathering power and resolution compared with a 60mm refractor will be particularly obvious.

Our Earth
You can also use this telescope as a powerful spotting scope for viewing planetside objects such as birds, ships, mountains, ... The telescope offers a very good image sharpness for planetary observing.

EQ3-1 a solid base for the telescope

The EQ3-1 holds the telescope with a very good stabiltiy. Many other telescopes in this price range are only offered on the EQ-1 or a similar mount that is undersized for a telescope of this size.

Solid 1.25" Focuser
An often overlooked detail of particular importance. The focuser's job is to hold the eyepiece ("magnifying lens") in place and move it into focus for a sharp image. The eyepiece defines the magnification you get. The JUPITER refractor has a standard 1.25" focuser, not the older 24.5mm size. As a result you can choose from hundreds of optional accessories available for 1.25".

6x30 Finderscope
The focuser helps to find and center the object that you wish to see in the telescope. It has a much larger field of view than the telescope and a crosshair.

Die Vorteile des JUPITER von TS Optics .. in Kurzform:

Abbildung	Besonders scharfe Abbildung - nicht nur bei Mond und Planeten sind Schärfe und Kontrast beeindruckend, auch Sternhaufen.. werden gut dargestellt. Auch bei hohen Vergrößerungen werden Sterne scharf abgebildet. Die Brennweite ist, im Bezug zur Öffnung, recht lang. Dadurch wird der Farbfehler deutlich minimiert. Der Mond wird in jedem Vergrößerungsbereich ein ästhetischer Anblick mit hunderten Kratern, Rillen und Gebirgen sein. Planeten werden bereits mit vielen Details abgebildet, wie z.B. die Ringe des Saturn, der Große Rote Fleck des Jupiter oder natürlich die Phasengestalt der Venus. Auch an der Sonne (mit der BAADER Sonnenfilterfolie) wird dieses Gerät eine sehr gute Leistung bringen.
Stabilität	Hohe mechanische Stabilität - Bereits am Bild sieht man, daß die Montierung TS EQ gut dimensioniert ist. Selbst bei hohen Vergrößerungen wird das Scharfstellen sehr einfach, weil die Montierung eine gute Stabilität bietet. Auch die Befestigung über zwei Rohrschellen aus Metall trägt zu einer soliden Montage bei.
Einfache Bedienung	Aufstellen und loslegen - das ist das Motto des Jupiter 1. Das Fernrohr ist immer optimal justiert und sofort einsatzbereit. Auch von Kindern kann das Teleskop nach einer kurzen Einweisung durch die Eltern, gut bedient werden. Durch das höhenverstellbare Alu Stativ passt sich das Fernrohr ideal der Körpergröße des
Schneller Zusammenbau	Die Schellen können aufgeklappt werden. Die Schellen selbst verbleiben immer an der Montierung. Wenn Sie das Gerät aufstellen, klappen Sie einfach die Schellen auf legen das Fernrohr rein und schließen die Schellen - fertig.
Viele Zubehörteile	Optimale Ausbaufähigkeit ist gegeben. Der Auszug hat 1,25", damit stehen Ihnen viele Möglichkeiten zum okularseitigen Ausbau offen, wie Astrofotografie, weitere Vergrößerungen..... Auch die Systemmontierung TS-EQ kann mit guten Schrittmotoren ausgebaut werden. Damit brauchen Sie dem Objekt nicht mehr mit der biegsamen Feinbewegung folgen, das geschieht dann automatisch.
