The LE Series of Binoculars:

The TS LE series of binoculars features a particularly good value for money. LE stands for "Long Eye Relief", signifying a high observing comfort. On the LE series we have put particular emphasis on the good image quality. The binoculars of this series are multicoated for an astounding image clarity and brightness. Professional manufacturing processes guarantee an excellent image quality.

The 15x70 LE:

If you are looking for very portable binoculars with more light gathering power than a normal 50mm then the 15x70LE is an ideal choice.

This model is one of our best sellers, and for good reasons. 70mm aperture means almost twice as much light gathering power compared with a 50mm model. At the same time the weight is only moderately higher.

15x magnification are ideal for many objects, both for astronomy and for nature observing. For quick observing you can use the binoculars free-handed, although we of course recommend to use a tripod for better stability and less strain. Further below you can find a link to a suitable metal tripod adaptor.

Applications:

Nature Observing, Birdwatching, Hunting ... whenever you have need for a bright image and a high magnification the TS15x70LE is a very interesting choice. With its light weight it is still suitable for free-hand operation at least for quick observing, despite the high magnification. For longer observing we recommend using a tripod or at least a monopod.

Astronomy ... 70mm of aperture means twice as much light compared with 50mm binoculars. As a result many hundred objects are within reach. Enjoy a "walk" through the milky way, or observe extended gas nebulae or star clusters. The 15x70 is the ideal alternative to a telescope, or a perfect companion for a telescope.

Excellent Viewing Comfort - Long Eye Relief:

The 1570 LE has a long eye relief. This results in an excellent viewing comfort - you don't need to squeeze your eyes into the eyepiece.

With 18mm these binoculars have a longer eye relief than many premium binoculars. The 15x70LE is fully suitable for eyeglass wearers - even with glasses on you can still view the entire field of view. Just push back the soft rubber eyeguard and your glasses will rest securely on a rubber surface to avoid scratches.

Full Multi-Coating:

For the 15x70 LE we have chosen an excellent multi-coating on all glass to air surfaces. The result is a brighter image and better contrast.

Camera Tripod Adaptation:

For extended usage or for observing from a fixed location (e.g. an observation stand) you should place the binoculars on a tripod. For this we offer an optional tripod adaptor (see "recommended accessories") that will adapt the binoculars on any camera tripod. We of course also offer a broad range of suitable tripods.
