Explore Scientific Triplet ED Apo 127 mm f/7.5 Alu-Essential

The ED127 Air-Spaced Triplet has true APO optics and is diffraction limited at .25PV or better. Genuine ED glass from Hoya Japan provides superb clarity and light throughput.

Enhanced Multi-Layer Coatings (EMD) are deposited on the optical elements of the ED127 to boost contrast and eliminate light scatter. Contrast is further enhanced with the installation of matte black knife-edge baffles in the optical tube assembly.

Collimation:

While refractors seldom require additional collimation after initial factory adjustment, the lens cell design allows for consumer collimation.

Focuser:

A 2" rack-and-pinion focuser (rotatable), including 2 draw tube extensions, makes photographic and visual work easy, even in heavy-duty use. Helical gearing and 10:1 reduction deliver guarantee smooth and precise focusing.

Mounting:

To attach your Explore Scientific 127 mm Air-Spaced Triplet telescope to a variety of mounts, a "Vixen-style" dovetail is included. The "Vixen-style" plate fits mounts made by Explore Scientific, Celestron,, Meade, Skywatcher, Vixen & others.
