William Optics 0.72x Reducer Flattener with M92x1 Telescope Thread

High performance flattener and reducer for the large William apo refractors GranTurismo GT102 (only with 3" focuser), FluoroStar FLT132 and GranTurismo GT153. The flattener has a triplet APO design and is equipped with glass elements from Ohara. It flattens the field of view even for full-frame sensors and at the same time acts as a reducer with a focal length reduction by a factor of 0.72x. Thus exposure times are shortened and the image field can be illuminated up to full frame format. By rotation, the flattener can even be adapted to the respective focus position. It is therefore suitable for various camera types, from (full-frame) DSLRs to CCDs and CMOS.

Other accessories, such as filters, extension tubes or filter wheels, can be easily combined with the William Optics flattener. It has a recessed M48 filter thread to accept 2" filters.

The respective backfocus is:

FLT132 = 63.4 mm (camera distance 8.4 mm)
FLT156 = 60.8 mm (camera distance 5.8 mm)
GT102 = 67.1 mm (camera distance 12.1 mm)
GT153 = 60.4 mm (camera distance 5.4 mm)

This corrects and illuminates an image field of 44.4 mm in diameter.
