Fixed focal length eyepiece 5 mm - outstandingly suitable for detail observation of moon and planets. The 5 mm offers maximum recommended magnification for moon, planets and double stars for many telescopes. Also, bright nebular and star clusters can be observed with this eyepiece.

Hyperion eyepieces are geared to optimal performance without compromises. Sharpness is consistently high over the entire field. The entire field can be seen without difficulty, with or without eyeglasses. Baader uses the best possible coating, thus even the weakest tails of galaxies become visible which disappear with other eyepieces. And ... the Hyperion eyepieces are suitable for photo.

Convenient 20 mm eye relief - very well suitable also for spectacle wearers.

Baader Phantom Group Coating - 7-layer broadband coating on all glass surfaces for maximum brightness and best contrast - ZEISS level!!

One eyepiece - three magnifications. With the 14 mm and 28 mm extension tubes, the magnification can be varied. You can find the tubes in the accessory recommendations.

If you remive the eycup, you can find an M43 and an SP54 connection thread for directly attaching SLR cameras, camcorders or DSLMs - ideal for eyepiece projection.

1.25" AND 2" connection at the telescope side, you can use the eyepiece with almost any telescope.

Hyperion eyepieces are suitable for binoviewers. From 56 mm interpupillarary distance one has no problems with viewing. The comfortable and easy view is a plus for this application.

The optimized design provides best possible performance with almost all telescopes. With Hyperion eyepieces, even fast Newtonian telescopes offer much joy even for demanding observers.

An extensive scope of delivery, like rubber eyecups, dust caps and an elegant pouch, completes the high quality eyepiece.
