TS polar wedge with fine adjustment for compact photo mounts

If you want to use compact mounts such as the Nanotracker, Star Adventurer or the well-known Seestar telescopes from ZWO in equatorial mode, we recommend an accurate altitude adjustment. The TS-PHW offers a more precise setting than a tilt head or ball head due to the fine adjustment. When the desired setting is reached, the position is fixed by a handy clamp. Fine-adjustment screws are also available for azimuthal alignment.

Note: When used with the Seestars, the latitude scale is not correct. Subtract your latitude from 90° and set the result. In addition, on the Seestar S50 the mount gets in the way of the handle of the clamping screw for the dovetail. This can be fixed by replacing the screw with our knurled screw RändelM8 (linked in the accessories section).

Important: The Seestar S50 tips over quite easily. Always extend all legs and place the telescope over one leg, not between two. Alternatively, you can use another photo tripod.
