TS adapter for recessed and screwed adaptation of the N-AGK3 coma corrector in the Starlight FTF3215B-A focuser

Although the Feather Touch True 3.0" focuser offers the possibility of precise clamping via the Starlight 3" clamp, many astrophotographers prefer a threaded connection. We at Teleskop-Service have therefore developed a screw adapter for the 3" full-frame Newtonian coma corrector to the Starlight focuser. The corrector is sunk into the focuser tube. As the Feather-Touch focuser is quite short, the adapter must be 22 mm high. Otherwise the corrector would protrude too far into the interior of the tube. For this reason, the adapter consists of two parts, the transition adapter to M68 and a 20 mm long extension tube with an M86x1 thread on both sides.

Camera side adaptation:
An M68x1 external thread is available on the camera side for further adaptations. The working distance from this thread to the camera sensor is 67 mm. The M68 thread is not included in the calculation. We will be happy to advise you on adapting your camera.

The connection to the Starlight FTF3215 focuser:

Screw the M86x1 extension into the camera-side internal thread of the focuser.

Screw the N-AGK corrector into the M73.5 external thread of the transition adapter. The thread adapter on the camera side must be removed for this. Please ensure that the corrector is mounted the right way round.

Then screw the adapter with the corrector into the internal thread of the M86x1 extension.
