Baader Planetarium 2" diagonal mirror with ClickLock clamp
This diagonal mirror satifies with features that cannot be taken for granted in this class. Over-dimensioned dielectric mirror with 1/10 lambda Hard-coated, scratch-proof mirror surface for safe cleaning Maximum possible clear aperture for wide-field observing Rounded body without sharp corners and edges Removable 2" Safety Kerf nosepiece, both ends include M48 filter threads, featuring largest clear aperture for widefield application. It can be locked without tilting. Baader ClickLock clamp for very fast attaching of accessories
The ClickLock clamping: here, the eyepiece side accessories are clamped over the whole area. In opposite to locking screws, the eyepiece or adapter is centered exactly on the optical axis and not pressed against the opposite surface.
Ultra short adaption of the Hyperion Zoom eyepiece
If having too little back focus (focus range) of the telescope or for accessories that have to be attached "captively" to the telescope (public observatories), you can attach the Hyperion Zoom directly to the diagonal prism, instead using the 2" barrel, thus saving approximately 47 mm of optical path.
The ClickLock clamp is simply detached from the body by loosening of the six fixing screws at the side. After that, a female 2" / SCT thread becomes accessible at the body. Into this thread, the gender changer BA1508020 is screwed. The Hyperion Mark III Zoom eyepiece can directly be screwed to this gender changer.
The Baader ClickLock® System at a glance
Never before an eyepiece receptacle for amateur astronomy has been manufactured thus complex. The Baader ClickLock (1.25"/2") is a precisely fitting, very massive eyepiece clamp without locking screws (!). Inserted eyepieces / CCD cameras etc. are held twist-proof but nonetheless will not be scratched! With a small 20° rotation any eyepiece will be clamped absolutely secure.
You don´t need to tighten our ClickLock clamps until your hand is damaged, as the mechanical principle origins from professional machine construction. The tool holder of modern CNC machining centers works the same way. By clever use of leverage effects, the clamping force is enhanced to the manifold extent. The inserted item is held at three sides, like with a quick-action chuck, and thus cannot carry out tilting movements anymore.
Detail of the 2" ClickLock system
A 20° rotation by pressing the rotary lever is sufficient to securely hold all 2" accessories perfectly safe and firmly. Ratchet function - shows acoustic and haptic to the position of the clamp. You will be able to recognise the position of the clamp even in the dark Massive compression ring - holds the most expensive accessory totally safe with no scratches and marring The lever position can be set via 6 slotted camera screws or 6 hexagon socket head screws with hex key for making the CL clamp usable for both right-handers and left-handers.

"Der Zenitspiegel ist dank der ClickLock gut für große Okulare geeignet. Die Hyperion Okulare von Baader halten besser in dem als bei Standard von Celestron."

"Hält was die Information im Netz verspricht. Würde ich jedem empfehlen. Bei Bestellung des Zenitspiegels sollte noch eine zweite Klick-Lock Klemme mitbestellt werden, wenn man nicht schon eine im Besitz hat. Welche auch immer"
