Flexible ZapCap heated dew shield for a tube diameter of 345 mm

Dew shields are a necessary protection against dew and against lateral stray light..

The dew shield is attached by wrapping it around the front end of the telescope tube. The two outer ends are then pressed together with the Velcro sewn on. A rubber strip is supplied which is attached along the rear edge of the exchange cap. This prevents slippage.
