Sky-Watcher Equatorial Mount EQ5 with Tripod

The mount is a solid base for telescopes up to 10 kg weight. For example, it can carry a Newtonian telescope or a Schmidt-Cassegrain up to 200 mm aperture or a refractor up to 150 mm aperture in a compact design. The mounting convinces above all by a good mechanical quality, such as ball bearing axes or precise worms. This and the optimal expandability allow the mount to grow with your requirements. A special feature of the EQ5 is the removable declination axis. All you have to do is loosen two screws. With the Photoguider upgrade, you can turn the EQ5 into a stable and precise astrotracker. The weight of the tracker is about 3 kg without tripod.
