"Again, a bit early days for me. I have been able to run some tests though and here is what I found: - The quality of the PSF is extremely good (I tested it with a red filter, on a natural star): picture perfect, no asymetry of the Airy figure which is very clean. - As is to be expected, the level of chromatism is rather high. It shows very notably on bright, smallish targets like Venus. Even Jupiter showed a prominent blue/violet halo. On the other hand, the Moon was, to a large extent, halo-free. - The mechanical built of the refractor is quite good. I have attached a heavy optical train consisting of a 2'' Powermate, a TZ-4S, various extenders, a couple of H-alpha etalons + focal reducer, blocking filter and camera and the over-sized focuser is coping. Good thing to have the rotating capability on that focuser. Overall, if one is willing to accept the noticeable chromatism, this is a very good scope and an very good value for money."

If you want a deep view, with beautiful pinpoint stars, but a huge apo isn´t in the budget, this is the one to buy. Quality is a solid A, as well as the optical figure. Yes theres color, but it´s less than expected, and the field is quite flat for a 152 f5.9. Used for its designed purpose, it´s a real great buy!
