New concept for more load capacity with less weight

iOptron has realized a new mount concept and thus improved the principle of "German type mount" once again. The result is remarkable. With a weight of only 13.6 kg (mount head), the CEM70 can carry telescopes up to almost 32 kg weight. This means that you can also use large telescopes with up to 12" aperture as mobile units.

An additional advantage is the latitude adjustment. This is considerably more massive and wider. As with the classic design, you can create 100% balance by using the counterweight and by moving the telescope in the mount.

The CEM70 is equipped with the electronic polar finder iPolar, which makes accurate polar alignment a breeze and provides the prerequisites for astrophotography.

iGuide of the autoguider for long time exposure is built in

The CEM70G has the iGuider built in the telescope holder. The iGuider consists of the software, a guiding telescope and the camera. So you don´t need a guide scope, off-axis-guider or autoguider for astrophotography anymore.

With a tracking accuracy of +/- 3.5 arcseconds, which can be further improved by PPEC, astrophotography over longer exposure times is possible even with large telescopes. Of course you can control and further improve the tracking with suitable autoguiders.

Powerful control system

The CEM70 is equipped with the advanced GOTONOVA GoTo control system. The database contains 359.000 objects. The handheld controller is equipped with a large eight-line LCD screen for a better overview. The control is innovative and after a short time easy to use by everyone. Of course the mount and control offers all possibilities for astrophotography.
