Baader "Solar Shade"
The Solar Shade protects the eyepiece or camera against direct sunlight.The Baader "Solar Shade" is an aluminum plate that clamps into a M68 fitting. The plate shades the eyepiece or camera behind it, preventing direct sunlight. Observation becomes more comfortable and contrasty.
Practical tip:
If you clamp the sunshade directly between the M68 connection and the accessory, you may end up touching the plate with your head. In this case, one of the linked M68 extension tubes can help to increase the distance. Sequence: M68 connection, sheet metal, M68 extension tube, accessories. Important: Select the length of the extension tube so that you can still reach the focal point and also have some play for focusing.
