General info about Antlia modular filter drawer system:

The filter drawer system is a very convenient and cost-effective alternative to the filter wheel for easy changing of filters and connection of camera and telescope.

The Antlia drawer system consists of three parts, the base body B001 with an optical depth of 20 mm, the telescope adapter T... and the camera adapter C..., the three parts being connected and screwed together. All parts of the Antlia filter drawer system are made of aerospace aluminum CNN-manufactured.

The flexible adaptation allows the filter drawer to be brought as close as possible to the camera. This minimizes vignetting by the filter. Overall, the components are optimized for the largest possible clearance.

Two magnets hold the filter holder in position, the orientation of the filter holder is unimportant, the magnets always attract the holder. Currently we offer two filter holders, B-2inch for mounted 2" filters and B-50 for unmounted 50 mm filters. In addition, there are inserts for mounted 1.25" filters and unmounted 31 mm and 36 mm filters. However, the inserts always require the B-2inch filter holder.

We offer a wide range of adaptations for the B001 base body of the filter drawer system, so that the filter drawer can be adapted to almost any telescope and that all common cameras also fit to the drawer. The connection adapters are held by a dovetail clamp, which also offers 360° rotation. This means that tilting is not possible and you can always set the optimal position. Four hexagon socket screws fix the connection adapter. A matching wrench is included with the base body. The dovetail clamping is the same on both sides, so you can freely decide where the telescope adapter and where the camera adapter is mounted.
