The clever part is inside: a small pivoting mirror that routes light either to the eyepiece or the camera sensor, depending on where you want it. The camera slots into any standard telescope via its 1.25" connection, and your eyepiece (not included) locks into place securely using the compression ring fitting.

Built-in filters that do the hard work for you

The most rewarding targets in the night sky are often the faintest ones - distant, elusive, barely visible to the naked eye. That´s where the two built-in filters earn their keep, switching in automatically without any input from you. The UV/IR-cut filter strips out ultraviolet and infrared light, passing only the visible spectrum - so colours stay true and images stay sharp. The dual-band filter ([O III] and H-alpha) cuts through light pollution and brings out the structure of emission and planetary nebulae with striking clarity, even from the middle of a city.
