Baader 8" double mounting plate - 750 mm

The large 8" double mounting plate with a length of 750 mm is specially designed for the parallel installation of two large telescopes and offers a load capacity of up to 150 kg. It is therefore ideal for main instruments from 20"-24"G together with another telescope. Thanks to its greater length, this plate allows for flexible balancing and sufficient space for additional accessories.

Pre-drilled attachment points allow the attachment of various clamps and adapters (e.g. PAN adjusters, base plates in various sizes or Baader 3" PAN/EQ clamps), ensuring precise alignment of both optics. In conjunction with the Baader 8" PlaneWave clamp (BA2451555), the plate can also be easily moved to the right or left to perfect the balance. This makes the 750 mm double mounting plate a robust and versatile basis when it comes to implementing complex parallel mounts on large mounts (e.g. 10Micron GM 3000, GM 4000, PlaneWave L-500 or L-600).
