TS off-axis guider for astrophotography
This OAG allows highly accurate tracking without a guide scope. A generously dimensioned prism directs light into a side view where a small camera, an autoguider, is located. This autoguider with the appropriate tracking program corrects the smallest deviations and ensures round, pinpoint stars. At the same time, the imaging optics are used for guiding. A possible source of error is eliminated.

Easy adaptation to the telescope
The off-axis guider has an M68x1 female thread on the telescope side. This allows you to connect the guider directly to all correctors and adapters with the corresponding male thread. The telescope adapter can be removed from the base body. A matching Allen key is provided.

Easy adaptation of the camera to the guider
A flexible transition adapter with 20 mm length makes the transition to the camera. On the camera side, the adapter has an M54x0.75 female thread for full-frame cameras and an M48x0.75 female thread for other cameras. With the matching reversing ring (see accessory recommendations), the desired camera can be adapted without any problems. Optionally, we can also offer you short adapters to M54, M48 and to T2, if you want to mount e.g. a filter drawer or filter holder between guider and camera.

Easy focusing of the autoguider due to microfocusing
The OAG has a microfocusing at the side connection for the autoguider. The autoguider does not rotate during adjustment. This allows perfect focusing to achieve the best possible results. When the guider is focused, you can fix the position with a knurled screw, so nothing can move.

Other advantages of the off-axis guider:
The prism can be adjusted, so it is far enough near the optical axis that the stars are displayed round, but vignetting on the image by the prism is prevented.
The clear aperture is very large at over 50 mm and is also suitable for full-frame sensors.
The guider is particularly versatile, since the telescope adapter and also the camera adapter can be unscrewed and replaced by individual adaptations. This allows the OAG to adapt optimally to your telescope.

Flexible, short camera adaptation via special adapters:
We will be happy to build an individual adapter to your camera for you. The suitable adapter is special65. If you want to make the adaptation yourself, then we provide the data here:
The base body has 10 through holes, suitable for M2 screws.
The distance from the center to the holes is 31 mm.
The distance from one drill hole to the opposite one (center to center) is 62 mm.
The required screw length is min. 6 mm (thread length).

An adapter recommendation (special65) would be:
Outer diameter on the OAG side: 68 mm
Thickness of the adapter without external thread: 3 mm
3x M2 female thread (120°), bolt circle 62 mm
External thread according to customer requirements (M54, M48 or T2)

With this adapter, the off-axis guider would only need 21.5 mm optical path. You would have enough space for filter wheels or filter drawers.
Connection telescope side:M68x1 female thread
Optical path without camera adapter:17.5 mm
Length of the base body without telescope connection:11.5 mm
Length of the telescope connection:6 mm
Length of the camera adapter:20 mm
Prism size:7x10 mm
