ASKAR 2" star diagonal mirror for refractors, Maksutovs and SC telescopes

The star diagonal has a very high quality finish, even at first glance this star diagonal mirror stands out from simple mirrors. However, only the use on the telescope will show how well the actual mirror, which is installed in the CNC housing, performs.

The mirror is precision-machined and has a surface quality that is better than 1/8 wavelength. To ensure maximum brightness, the mirror has a 99% dielectric coating. This means that almost 100% of the light reaches the observer's eye. A quartz protective coating guarantees the durability of the mirror.

A reduction adapter from 2" to 1.25" is included in the scope of delivery, allowing you to use 2" and 1.25" eyepieces or adapters. The star diagonal is suitable for telescopes and focusers with 2" receptacle. An SCT adapter is also included, which makes the star diagonal suitable for telescopes such as Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrains.
