Multi-function, easy to install, large load capacity

Thanks to aircraft grade aluminum, the pier extension features great capacity of high-temperature resistance and wear resistance. It is durable and hard to deform, ensuring a higher strength and better rigidity, and a large load capacity of up to 50 kg.

The extension provides out-of-the-box functionality which simplifies the whole installation process to one step: Just tighten the locking knob!

The pier extension has a wide range of compatibility. It is not only suitable for the ZWO carbon fiber tripod, it can also be used with the 1.75 inch steel tripods from iOptron and Sky-Watcher and with the 2 inch tripod for Celestron´s Advanced VX mount.

ZWO provides 3 optional thin pillars. You can take off the tube of the PE200 and install the pillars to get a portable PE160 which will greatly reduce your burden of transport.

The pier extension has a dark black tone finish with matte surface, so its match with the red ZWO mount is quite classic and artistic. The pier extension itself also features great comfortable texture.
