TS-Optics short adapter from M54x0,75 to M48x0,75 for photography

This adapter is a solution for all astrophotographers who want to screw the corrector to the focuser and do not want it to jam. With only 3mm length the adapter is extremely short. The adapter fits into the M54x0.75 female thread of 2" focusers, like the UNCN2-G2 Newtonian focuser.

Connection of Baader MPCC and TSGPU Newtonian coma corrector:

These correctors have an additional M48 thread for screw adaptations. Remove the M48 ring from the corrector and replace it with this adapter. This does not change the working distances. You can now screw the correctors to the focuser.

Connection of other correctors with M48 camera thread:

The prerequisite is that the corrector has an M48 thread with at least 5mm length. Screw the M54a-M48i adapter onto the M48 thread. Please note that the working distance of the corrector is now reduced by 3mm. Thus, 55mm becomes 52mm working distance to the sensor.
