TS Extension Tube for the M54x1 Thread

Skywatcher uses the M54x1 female thread for screw fittings on its focusers. This adapter extends the drawtube by 23.5 to 27 mm.

The extension is useful, for example, if you want to screw Newtonian correctors like the TSGPU to the Skywatcher focuser. This corrector puts the focus point further out, so that the focus can be reached easily with the TSM541-MPCC screw adapter.

Skywatcher does not use a correct M54x1 female thread, it is a "crooked" thread with approx. 54.3 mm diameter. Of course, we have taken this into consideration for the extension.

"Used as extension tube on Skywatcher 250P GOTO scope, to allow 2"" Baader clicklock to be used with 2"" eyepieces without having to fit an extension tube between clicklock and eyepiece. Product of good quality - might seem expensive but actually cost less than an hour of skilled car restoration engineer's time!"
