"As per reviews this is one of the best wide field refractors on the market. I need a wider field scope to complement my 8” sct. All the adapters to hook a astronomy osc is included and the built in corrector eliminates the need for backfocus calculations. The losmandy dovetail supplied is a bit short, that’s why I purchased a replacement bar (also to be able to install mini pc etc.)"

"After only too few outings (bad weather) I am already very happy with my new Askar FRA500 scope. I use it on AZ5 with Asiair+ and everything works just fine. Also the ZWO EAF that I already had was an easy task to mount on the scope. To start with I was a bit worried if the Askar focuser was too stiff for the EAF but it seems to work fine. Also in cold weather (at least in -10°C). "
