Especially astrophotographers like to attach accessories like small guide scopes, balance weights systems or coupleable camera brackets to the telescope. Simply mount the lightweight dovetail bar to the telescope and you can effortlessly attach accessories by using a suitable saddle plate. Suitable plates are linked in accessories section.

Features of the TSPSV180 dovetail bar:

The dovetail bar is made of aluminum profile. Through this construction, the weight can be reduced to 60%, compared with a solide profile bar with comparable stability, low vibration and stiffness.

The dovetail bar has support for flat surfaces like the lower part of tube rings. The width is 70 mm - more than most dovetail bars offer. In addition, the bar has different radii for telescopes from 6" to 14" aperture. Thus, the bar can be attached directly to tubes and has full contact to the surface.

Bores and female threads for almost all adaptions exist. Beside the lateral holes and the three long bores in the middle, the bar also offers two female 1/4" threads for photo adaptions.
