Vixen giant binocular telescope BT126SS-A
The double refractor allows for completely relaxed observations which are not possible with a simple telescope or a binoviewer. Contrast and perception of fine detail will make every observation unforgettable.

With this big binoculars, daytime viewing is also exciting. Even in difficult lighting conditions, like in late dusk, colours are perceived and the image stays brigth and contrasty through the large aperture.

For more than 100x magnification, we recommend the Baader Fringe Killer - a colour filter which improves contrast and sharpness of achromatic objectives without coloring the image too much. That makes sense when observing craters of the moon and structures on planets.

The two achromatic systems of the BT126SS-A
The Vixen BT125A is characterized by its two achromatic objectives with 126 mm diameter. Both of them collects about 300x mor elight than the unaided human eye. With f/4.9, the speed is also very high. The lenses are mounted in high-quality cells and keep their adjustment perfectly.

Customisable magnification through 1.25" receptacle
A special feature of the BT126SS-A is the 1.25" receptacle. With that, you can use almost all astronomical eyepieces. We recommend eyepieces with focal distances down to 6 mm. The insight should be comfortable. You can find a small selection of eyepieces in the "recommendations" section.

The magnification can be calculated very simple. Divide the focal length of the telescope (617 mm) by the focal length of the eyepieces and you get the magnification. Eyepieces of 20 mm focal length will give 31x magnification.

Comfortable insight and correct orientation
Like with most spotting scopes, the insight is angled by 45°, giving always comfortable behaviour for daytime observations and astronomy. The built-in Porro prisms provide for a correctly orientated image, as with binoculars.

Transport and setting up
The carrying handle allows for an easy transport and also eases attaching to a photo tripod or an alt-azimuthal mount. We recommend the Vixen HF2 fork mount. The binoculars fit directly to the attachments of the holder.
