The compact TS APO Spotting Scope Final 80 offers contrast, colour fidelity and sharpness to an extremely high degree.
The TS Final spotting scope usees a two-element apochromatic objective with an ED element. Whether at day or night - the TS Final spotting scope leaves nothing to be desired and offers best performance in all fields of use like: Birding and observing the wildlife Trecking and safari (the spoting scope is waterproof) Astronomy (1.25" eyepieces of your telescope fit) Digiscoping (take photographs through the spotting scope, the camera adapter is already included)
The TS Final 80 APO Spotting Scope offers:
maximal sharp images at day and night ideal for bird and nature observations, for viewing at long distance and an occasional glimpse at the sky. The top series of the TS-Optics spotting scopes has all properties known from significantly more expensive spotting scopes. ED lens with multi-coating for bright, contrasty images without destracting colour aberration The TS Final Spotting Scopes are waterproof and nitrogen purged against fogging Rotatable tripod adapter: Allows for placing the eyepiece at a comfortable position. The spotting scope is seated in a bracket with which it is mounted to a tripod. This bracket is rotable so you can turn the insight by an angle of 90°, for example. Wide angle zoom eyepiece: Quick and simple adjustment of the magnification for 20 to 60x Twist eyecup for adjusting the best eye distance for spectacle wearers The bracket has three 1/4" photo threads, so it can be balanced better or attached to many astronomical mounts with dovetail bar.
Special features in detail:
1.25" eyepiece connection with locking system
The 1.25" eyepiece connection is established at professional telescopes for quite some time. The advantages are obvious. You can quickly change eyepieces and have the complete range of professional eyepieces at hand.
For example, you can achieve 120x magnification with the planetary eyepiece HR4.
Ready for digiscoping - phtotographing through the spotting scope
Thanks to better digital cameras, photography is on the rise more and more. With the camera adapter of the TS Final 80, you can capture on camera what you see.
The adaption could not be easier: Screw the camera adaptor on the zoom and then attach your digital camera with the optional T2 ring or objective adapter (if you don´t have a camera with interschangeable lens)and you can take great photographs through the spotting scope.
The magnification factor of the zoom is kept here - the spotting scope turns into a telephoto lens with a variable focal length between approx. 400 mm and 1200 mm.
Tip: Many digital cameras have a 52 mm filter thread at the front of the lens. The adapter CA-FINAL allows attaching these cameras to the spotting scope without further rings or adapters.
Photographing through the FINAL with the smartphone
Modern smartphones now have very good cameras. With the items # TSSMH-DEL (smartphone holder) and the TSSMHDEL-T2 (T2 adapter) you can screw the smartphone directly to the photo adapter and have a stable and precise connection for spectacular shots through the spotting scope.
Coarse focusing and fine focusing for perfect sharpness
Use the coarse focusing for quick viewing. When birding, for example, you have to change the focal plane quickly for not missing the motif.
At the same rotary knob, you have the micro transmission for osberving something in detail. Especially in photography through the spotting scope, exact focusing is very important for perfect results.
Extendable lens hood:
An extendable lens hood protects from stray light and also from dew.
The carrying bag:
The provided bag is more than just a container. Of course, the padded bag will perform this task very well.
But can also mount the spotting scope onto a tripod with the bag. The coverings of lens, eyepiece and focusing are opened, the rest of the spotting scope stays protected. Thus the operation in very humid environmental conditions is possible, for example when hunting.
Versatile tripod connection:
The tripod connection of the Final 80 spotting scope is elaborate, too. It offers a 360° rotation if the insight should be at the side instead of at top.
The connector offers three 1/4" photo threads, so you can better balance the spotting scope or even attach it to many astronomical mounts by using an optional dovetail bar.
