The RDAC from TS Optics is more than just a simple red dot finder.
With its solid metal bracket, this finder fits almost all common finder bases (Vixen, Celestron, Skywatcher, Orion, GSO ...). With an optional finder base, you can attach the RDAC to all other telescopes.

The RDAC is a perfect addition to a normal optical finder. Locate the wanted sky areal in the RDAC quick and reliable. You never lose the overview, not even in fast turning. The RDAC is so precise that, after aiming, the wanted region is always visible in the finder and perhaps even in the eyepiece of the telescope.


Four different symbols are possible:
Choose the symbol which fits best to your needs. You also can choose a color (green or red) and the brigthness (in 5 levels).


Suitable for astronomy and terrestrial use
Due to the two colours and the five brightness levels, the TS RDAC is suited for astronomy and also daylight observations. Even difficult lighting conditions, like bright sunlight, are no problem for the RDAC. The front glass is fully multi-coated. There are no reflexions and even dimmer stars can be seen quite good.

Question:
What to do if the brightness is still too bright??

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
If you unscrew the metal ring in the battery compartment, you can lift out a circuit board. Replace the 5 kOhm resistor with a 100 kOhm SMD resistor. Put everything back in and the brightness is perfect.

"Die Justierung ist leider in der (englischen) Anleitung nicht gut erklärt. Vor allem, dass man zuerst eine Madenschraube lösen muß, um den Peilsucher justieren zu können. Doch auch wenn die Schraube gelöst ist, ist die Justierung schwergängig. Einmal eingestellt verstellt sich das Gerät aber nicht wieder."

"Eigentlich ist der TSRDAC sehr gut aus schwarz eloxiertem Aluminium gefertigt und das projizierte Lasersymbol (Punkte, Kreuze) in rot oder grün mit wählbarer Helligkeit ist sauber. Allerdings funktioniert (bei mir) die vertikale Justage nicht (oder ich mache noch etwas falsch). TS Service hat mir den TSRDAC sofort ausgetauscht - guter Service, daher vier Sterne."

"wie geplant benutzen tu ich nur für Stern Alignment, gegenüber sucher mit vergrösserung,gewinnt man zeit und es ist confortable,Auch hat man nicht die tendenz die orientierung zu verlieren.
