Baader Variable T2 extension (12-16 mm) incl. counter ring, T2 part # 33
The extension is an ingenious combination of three parts of the Baader T2 system:
one ring with continuous T2 external thread
one ring with continuous female T2 thread
a very short T2 lock ring

Application areas:
Everywhere where an exact adjustment of the plane of sharpness is required, such as in astrophotography.
Determination of an exact working distance, for example in correctors.
Conversion from external to internal threads and vice versa

Use as variable extension:
Screw the two rings together; the further you screw the rings together, the shorter the extension will be. This allows you to determine the distance in a fraction of a millimeter. When you have the desired length, simply lock the rings with the short locking ring and the adapters will remain in the exact position, keeping the length.

Adjustment range: The shortest distance is 12 mm - so you still have a few threads for further adaptation. The longest distance is 16 mm.
Thread on telescope side:T2 female thread
Thread on camera side:T2 external thread
Working length:Continously variable from 12 mm to 16 mm
Inside diameter / clear aperture (mm):39
Outer diameter (mm):49
