The ratio between luminous intensity and weight as well as between magnification and field of view is optimal for many applications with this model. The sensational close focus from 3 meters also allows exciting views of the nearby animal and plant world. With a field of view of 130 meters at 1000 meters, the glass offers a very nice wide-angle effect for optimal overview.
The ULTRAVID with 42mm aperture are almost as compact as smaller 32mm binoculars, yet offer imaging performance on par with 50mm aperture binoculars. They are a good compromise when it comes to the best possible performance and comfortable transport characteristics.
