TS FotoringT2 - T2 connection for 1.25" Eyepieces
Connect your SLR camera or system camera directly to your eyepiece. All you need is this ring and a suitable T2 adapter. You can connect astro cameras with T2 thread directly to the FotoringT2.

You will gain considerably more field of view and can use the strong optical performance of your 1.25" eyepiece for photography.

The FotoringT2 fits all 1.25" eyepieces with a straight sleeve from 30 mm to 32 mm. You can find out the diameter of your eyepiece by pulling off the rubber eyecup and measuring it. Then simply fix the Fotoring with the 3 M4 knurled screws and you´re ready to go.

The advantage - there is no shorter T2 connection
With the Fotoring you turn your eyepiece into a projection lens with direct T2 connection. The short design has two advantages over a conventional projection adapter:
Telescopes with very narrow focal positions (like Newtonian mirror telescopes) are usually not designed for photography. You can attach your camera mechanically, but you would not achieve sharpness because the focuser will bump inwards beforehand. You can easily focus with the Fotoring.
If you want to photograph with your digital camera without interchangeable lenses, you have to get as close as possible to the eyepiece with the lens. The view from the side shows that the Fotoring offers the shortest possible construction. You can get close to the eyepiece with the lens and thus gain much more field of view.

Practical tip from TS - how to adjust the photo ring optimally to the eyepiece:
Eyepieces are not standardized on the top side. Try to get the three M4 thumbscrews exactly into the groove that fixes the rubber eyecup you took off. If the groove is very narrow, it may be helpful to round the end of the thread of the three M4 thumbscrews a bit with a metal file so that the screws fit exactly into the groove.
