Complete Carbon Tube with all necessary holes for your Skywatcher Newtonian.

Upgrade your Skywatcher Newtonian with a carbon tube to increase rigidity and reduce weight.

The advantages of the TS Carbon Upgrade:

The opening for the drawtube of the focuser is provided. We can also drill additional holes (spider, end rings) if required.

You get exactly the same focus position as with your Newtonian, so you don´t need to change or even buy new accessories.

The weight of your telescope is reduced considerably, at the same time the stiffness is increased. Twisting, e.g. at the focuser, is a thing of the past.

The focus position is held much better because carbon has a more favourable expansion value than metal. This means that you need to refocus less often during long exposures. The images will be sharper.
