TS dew shield for 6" RC telescopes

The dew shield is manufactured in Germany for 6" RC telescopes by GSO, these RCs are also sold under the TS-Optics brand, among others. In contrast to flexible dew shields, this one offers a perfect fit and dimensional stability, thus guaranteeing even illumination. The inside of the dew shield is lined with velour for optimum contrast even in scattered light. The dew cap fits 6” RC with carbon tube. The RC with the metal tube is slightly smaller with a tube diameter of 191 mm.

The adaptation of the dew cap to the RC

The ring is attached to the telescope, it has the necessary recess for the dovetail bar.

The dew shield is screwed to the ring. The dew shield can be unscrewed for transportation, the ring remains on the tube.
